Montecalvo Ready to Take on the 12 Hours of Sebring

Wednesday, March 15, 2023— Highlands, NJ — After more than a month has passed since his P5 finish at the Rolex 24, Vasser Sullivan driver Frankie Montecalvo is ready to take on the Mobil-1 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday, March 18 at Sebring International Raceway.

Montecalvo will be joined once again by Aaron Telitz, and Parker Thompson will complete the lineup for the No. 12 Lexus RC F GT3.

“I’m looking forward to getting back to Sebring after more than a month since our last race at Daytona. We completed a few days of testing in February at Sebring, and I think we are going to start the weekend very strong,” said Montecalvo.

“Historically, our car has performed well at Sebring. Last year we finished seventh, but only because we had contact with a lapped GT car that put us out of contention.”

“The Vasser Sullivan crew has been working tirelessly to get our car set up and ready to handle the bumps and everything else that the twelve hours of Sebring can throw at you. We typically see a wide range of weather conditions at Sebring, and this year will be no different. Leading up to the race, it looks like we’ll have very pleasant conditions, but race day looks like a full day of rain. Aaron, Parker, and I will be ready to take on anything with our Lexus RC F GT3.”

“I’ve finished on the podium here before but would love nothing more than to come away with a Sebring 12 win. If we can run a clean race and keep our time in the pits to a minimum, I have no doubt that we have the lineup and the car to come away with a victory Saturday night.”

On track action for the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring starts on Thursday, March 16, and continues through the weekend. The green flag flies on Saturday, March 18, at 10:10 AM EDT. You can watch Frankie race live with flag-to-flag coverage beginning at 10:05 AM EDT on the Peacock App. USA Network will also feature the race from 4:30 PM EDT through the checkered flag. To stay up to date with current broadcast time and all of Frankie’s racing news, follow him on Facebook and Twitter.
