Wednesday, September 30, 2026 – Braselton, GA – Vasser Sullivan driverFrankie Montecalvo will close out the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, returning to the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 for the 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans.
Montecalvo will once again join full-season drivers Aaron Telitz and Benjamin Pedersen for the final endurance event of the season. The trio are looking to finish the season on a high note at one of IMSA’s most challenging and prestigious events.
For Montecalvo, Petit Le Mans marks the culmination of his eighth consecutive season with Vasser Sullivan. Petit Le Mans has also been a successful event for Montecalvo and Vasser Sullivan in recent seasons. In 2025, Montecalvo joined Parker Thompson and Jack Hawksworth in the No. 12 Lexus to score a third-place finish at Road Atlanta.
“Petit Le Mans is always one of the races I look forward to the most,” said Montecalvo. “It’s a long, challenging race, and Road Atlanta is a track where you have to be on it every lap. We’ve had a really strong season as a group, and Aaron, Benjamin and I know what we need to do to put ourselves in a position to fight for a great result. It would be special to finish the year on the podium again, and we’re going to give everything we have on Saturday.”
“We tested at Road Atlanta in August. While the weather was much different to what we will likely experience this weekend, it was still a productive two days. There’s rain predicted for the race, so it should make things interesting. Our Lexus RC F GT3 has thrived in the rain in the past, so we’ll be ready for anything.”

On track action for the Motul Petit Le Mans will begin Thursday, October 1 and continue through the weekend. The green flag flies on Saturday at 12:10 p.m. ET. Live coverage will be available on NBC, NBCSN and Peacock in the United States, with flag-to-flag coverage beginning at noon ET on Peacock.
