Montecalvo Set to Close Out Season Strong at Motul Petit Le Mans

BRASELTON, GA  October 8, 2025 — As the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season draws to a close, driver Vasser Sullivan Frankie Montecalvo is gearing up for the final showdown: the Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. The ten-hour endurance race, taking place this weekend, marks the final round of the 2025 calendar and the last event of the Michelin Endurance Cup.

Montecalvo and co-drivers Jack Hawksworth and Parker Thompson will once again be behind the wheel of the No. 12 Lexus RC F GT3.  With momentum from a strong start to the season and a pair of podiums under their belt, the team is pushing hard to end the year on a high note.

“This is the last race of the year, and we’re hoping to finish out strong,” said Montecalvo.

“It was a good start to the season — we had a couple of podiums, and we’re still sitting third in the championship for the endurance rounds. We’re going to do everything we can to climb that ladder and close the season out strong.”

Montecalvo brings both experience and confidence to Road Atlanta, a track where he’s tested extensively and scored a third-place finish in 2024.

“We tested at Road Atlanta after Indy. It’s a place that’s always suited the Lexus RC F GT3 well — especially with the high-speed corners and technical sections. We had a good run at Petit last year, and we’re hoping to close out the season with a win for the No. 12 crew. We have a great team, a strong driver lineup, and we’re prepared to fight for ten hours.”
